Seat reservations are classified as following:
A free seat reservation is assigned at the time of booking: if you need a reservation, you will be given one when you book.
Purchase a seat reservation after buying your ticket: some railways do not assign you a seat reservation and instead give you the option of purchasing one. In that case, please contact us through the contact form and we'll reserve you the seat.
This is the case of the following railways/routes:
- Deutsche Bahn (Germany)
- ÖBB-DB (Austria-Germany)
- SNCB (Belgium)
- Railjet (Wien-Venezia)
The train is not reservable: some train companies do not offer seat reservations on all or some of their trains. This is common on regional trains, shorter routes and during peak commute times. On these trains, you can sit in any available seat in the class for which you have purchased a ticket.
