It is possible to travel with your pet on SBB trains following the next conditions:

• Dogs of any size: must always pay the second-class half fare or the stipulated minimum fare (Day Pass Dogs, Dog Pass) when travelling in passenger carriages or luggage vans. Dogs must sit under your seat so that other passengers' passage is not obstructed. 
• Small dogs with a wither height of up to 30cm: may be transported as hand luggage for free if they are in a transport box, basket, or other animal-friendly container and placed under your seat. However, once the dog has been removed from its container, you will need to purchase a separate ticket for the dog. To make this happen, please contact us through the  contact form.
